CF Burkheimer at Spey Days NW

Posted on January 29, 2009

Join Kerry Burkheimer, Brian Styskal and the entire CF Burkheimer crew at Spey Days NW 2009, on the Skagit River.

Now in it’s 7th year, Spey Days NW has moved to Howard Miller Steelhead Park on Washington’s gorgeous Skagit River. Join us on March 27th, 28th and 29th for a weekend of casting, fishing and learning. This is the prime time to fish for the Skagit’s famous winter and spring run steelhead, and Howard Miller Park is a nice base location from which to explore the Skagit and Sauk rivers.

The first day will be dedicated to instruction, with presentations by some of the Northwest’s finest casters and anglers. CF Burkheimer Pro Staff member Brian Styskal will be teaching a class from 10am to 2pm on friday the 27th.

For more details or to sign up for a class, contact Jerry Swanson at: 800.442.4359 or email him at: jerrys@kman.com

I took three rods in case I didn’t like the 9135-4 or broke a rod, but the other rods never got used as the 9135-4 was a dream. It handled the wind and heavy sink tips better than I expected and the most amazing thing I found was that while it had the beef to control the larger fish up to 21 lbs. the tip was sensitive enough to feel the slightest take and make even the small 2 lb. fish a lot of fun to fight. — Peter Laskier
