Congratulations and salutations are in order for Brian Styskal and Whitney Gould on their return from the 2009 Jimmy Green Spey-O-Rama. Brian finished third in the mens final, besting his score from last year and booming out some huge casts en route to his top three finish. Whitney won the womens final with an impressive casting display, and made history in the process, becoming the first woman to score every cast over 100 feet.

This years field was the most competitive in the history of the event, drawing casters from around the world and showcasing better performances than ever previously seen. Congratulations to this years mens champion, Simon Hsieh, who captured his second title in a row and showed remarkable consistency in the face of changing course conditions in the final round. Congratulations also to two good friends of CF Burkheimer, Mariusz Wroblewski for a top ten finish in the mens division, and Mia Sheppard for her fourth place finish in the womens division. This competition was the first for Mia and she performed admirably, with two casts over 100 feet.
