Enjoy a complete angling experience in British Columbia with fly fishing enthusiasts and C.F. Burkheimer instructional staffers Brian Styskal and Whitney Gould. From May 8-14, 2011 (5 days and 6 nights) you’ll fish for spring steelhead and salmon at the Spey Lodge.
We present a unique week-long opportunity to learn steelhead angling and casting from experienced instructors and guides on the water and in the elements. Our goal is to share our love of the total fly fishing experience, and to assist you in your journey to become a more effective angler. These opportunities are tailored for your needs, whether you are a novice or an expert angler.
Highlights include:
• Fishing the Lower Skeena tributaries with the opportunity of exploring intimate, less- traveled coastal streams (accessed daily by whitewater raft and jetboat).
• Fishing each day with one other angler, one guide, and one Burkheimer instructional staff with the opportunity to refine your casting with personal instruction.
• Polishing your fishing skills with personal instruction from the Spey Lodge guide staff.
• Choosing from a wide selection of the latest Burkheimer rods to appraise while fishing.
• Evening workshops such as line design and welding, and presentations such as wine tasting.
• Opportunity for helicopter transportation to remote fishing sites at an additional price.
Arrive in Terrace, BC Canada on Sunday, May 8th. Depart Saturday, May 14th. Trip cost is $4,850. Included are gourmet meals, beer, wine, hot riverside lunches, and airfare from Vancouver, BC to Terrace, BC. Lodging includes your choice of private single or double occupancy rooms, both with private bathrooms, and walking access to the Skeena River trail. Masseuse available if the hard-fighting fish wear you down!
Price does not include gratuity, fishing license or transportation to Vancouver, BC. Limit is 6 anglers. All participants will be entered into a draw with the grand prize being your choice of a new Burkheimer rod! Everyone receives a prize!
