After growing up in Oregon, Ryan fled to the Colorado snow and emerged with a degree in biology.  Several years of guiding in Montana and Idaho provided Ryan with a basis in teaching this technical sport, but a return to the soggy and fishy Northwest was inevitable. Years of experience and his intimate knowledge of the water help prepare each of Ryan’s guests for success.
