Broken rod? These simple steps will get it back to you fast!

Rod's break. It happens. We just want to make sure that we get your rod repaired and returned to you as quickly as we can.

In order to fit a piece to a new rod, we have to go through a long process to repair and replace the section. Make specific part, sand the part, color coat the part to match the broken rod, clear coat the part, ferrule the part, spine the part, wrap guides on the part, and finally, coat the thread wraps. This process takes time, and we  realize how important it is to return your rod quickly so you can get back on the water.

To help with our turnaround time we've built a new Warranty and Repair Form into our website. This form goes straight to our inbox and alerts us to the specific repair that is en route to our shop. This allows us to roll your part and color coat it before your broken rod gets to the shop, and it improves the turnaround time immensely.

Here's how the process works:

  1. Fill out the Warranty and Repair Form completely.
  2. Place your entire rod, including the broken sections, into the rod sock and aluminum tube.
  3. Package the tube in a sturdy cardboard box and ship it back to our shop: 2001 Main St., Washougal, WA 98671
  4. We fix your rod and return it to you as quickly as we can.
Our average turnaround time on repairs is 7-14 days in the shop. This does not include the shipping time as it is routed back to you. If you need your repair ASAP, please inform us and we will expedite your repair as much as possible.
