Beginning September 15, 2012 all C.F. Burkheimer two-handed rods will be built with downlocking reels seats.
After speaking with our Pro-Staff, industry professionals, our dealers, our customers and our friends, the decision was made to build all CFB rods with downlocking seats. We've long felt that downlocking seats were the way to go, and after our survey of anglers responded nearly unanimously we made the change official.
We are happy to equip rods with uplocking seats on request.
